Mina the Hollower items fall into three categories: consumables (health and stamina restoratives), key items (progress-gating tools), and upgrade materials (permanent stat boosts). Important key items

The Hollow Key is required to access the Corrupted Citadel — it drops from the Drowned Matriarch after defeating her. The Ancient Seal pieces are hidden across three biomes and unlock the final boss door in the Heart of the Island. Locket Pieces (3 total) are optional but unlock the true ending. All Mina the Hollower items are permanently available — nothing is locked out after story progression, so you can always backtrack to collect missed items.

Consumable management

Health Herbs restore 30 HP and are plentiful from enemy drops and breakable pots. Big Herbs restore full health and are rarer — save them for boss fights. Stamina Fruits restore 50 stamina and are best used when exploring long burrow tunnels. Elixirs restore both health and stamina fully but are limited to 3 per playthrough. Smart Mina the Hollower items management means saving rarer consumables for boss encounters and using common herbs for exploration healing.
