General boss strategy

Every boss in Mina the Hollower telegraphs attacks with a distinct visual cue — a flash, a ground rumble, or a sound effect. Learn these tells before committing to damage. Most bosses have a two-to-three-second vulnerability window after their strongest attack; this is when you should use heavy sub-weapons. Never deplete your stamina bar below 20 percent; you need reserve stamina to dodge or block unexpected follow-ups.

Phase transitions

Bosses enter new phases when their health drops below two-thirds and one-third thresholds. Phase transitions often include a screen-wide attack or a temporary invulnerability state. Use this time to heal, swap sub-weapons, and reposition. The transition animation is a guaranteed safe window — do not waste it by panic-rolling.

The Hollow King's phase 2 adds floor spikes that persist for the rest of the fight. Keep moving and never stand in the same spot for more than two seconds.
